Henderson Headlines the African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County

Larry "Lak" Henderson, The Hiphop Educator, headlined the African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County alongside legendary bands such as The Bar-Kays, Taste of Honey and The Zapp Band.

In addition to his performance on the main stage, Henderson entertained families during the festival's "Family Village" events.

 

While in Raleigh, he was featured on radio stations WSHA-FM Shaw University, WAUG-AM St. Augustine's University and Foxy 107.1 FM to discuss his unique brand of educational hiphop music.

Octavia Rainey, local community activist and on-air personality for WSHA said, "Larry is brilliant with history!"
